Having recently established ThreadBear Designs with Nick Shirley who is in himself a renowned authority in the Gift & Textile industry, Danielle has created a fabulous contemporary range of Children’s textiles, which has enabled her strong aesthetic style to shine through. Her designs have won numerous toy awards over the past 20 years and we think you will agree that her style is instantly recognisable.
Threadbear Design aims to remain small and focused and to in order to offer the best range of wooden toys and textiles for children whilst looking after our planet. These are worthy goals which Costumechest is proud to be a part of. Threadbear's textile supplier has been awarded the SMETA Best Practice Guidance and SMETA Measurement Criteria seal of approval and is a member of the SEDEX, Global Ethical Trade organisation.All of Threadbear's textile products meet the European standard safety of products according to EN71, parts 1 & 3, Azo Dyes, Formaldehyde and Phthalates.Threadbear strives to maintain ethically high standards throughout the organisation. In addition they are regularly audited by the BSCI. Care labels are sewn into the side hem of each apron or tabard.
